After the love for Part 1: 7 Best Ramen Restaurants in Vancouver (my original best ramen vancouver guide), it became clear—there’s no way one list could cover it all. Vancouver’s ramen scene is too flavourful, too diverse, and too beloved to stop there.
So welcome to Part 2: a deeper dive into Vancouver’s best ramen with 10 more incredible restaurants. From mazemen (brothless noodles) and tsukemen (dipping ramen) to refreshing yuzu bowls and hearty tonkotsu classics, this list has something for every craving.
I’ve made it a personal mission to visit every single ramen spot in Vancouver, Canada and here’s the result from my continuing quest.

Hidden Gem Ramen Restaurants in Vancouver
1. Beest Vancouver – Beef Ramen + Innovative Mazemen
Beest Vancouver is redefining ramen with its luxe take on roast beef marinated ramen and mazemen (brothless ramen). Their Roast Beef Mazemen with uni and truffle feels indulgent yet perfectly balanced—a real treat for adventurous foodies.
When I last visited in August 2025, we sampled their shio ramen and a seasonal mazemen special, both rich, filling, and artfully crafted. Noodle portions are generous, the roast beef is tender, and table toppings like garlic, chilli oil, and vinegar let you adjust to taste.
The stylish interior gives “relaxed luxury” vibes, and staff are attentive (bonus: quick with water refills in the summer heat).
💡 Tip: Sign up for their loyalty program—your first visit earns a free mini vanilla ice cream, with more perks as you go.
- Location: 770 Bute St, Vancouver, BC
- Must-Try: Roast Beef Mazemen with Uni & Truffle

A classic import from Japan, Santouka is known for its silky shio ramen. The standout topping? Their toroniku pork cheek, melt-in-your-mouth and unforgettable.
Their perfectly soft-boiled onsen eggs are probably my favourite in town: legendary.
The calm, minimalist interior (think wood tables and ceramic dishes) makes it a quiet sanctuary for ramen lovers, while seasonal specials—like warming ginger ramen in winter—keep locals like me coming back.
- Locations:

- 558 W Broadway, Vancouver, BC
- 8010 Saba Rd #110, Richmond, BC

3. JINYA Ramen Bar – Bold Social Flavours
When cravings call for tonkotsu, JINYA’s Tonkotsu Black Ramen delivers—rich pork broth, garlic oil, and a flawless ajitama egg that hits all the right notes. JINYA downtown is a well known location but I deem it’s other two locations at Brentwood and the newer Broadway and Granville hidden gems as they are less busy and have plenty of seating.
The lively, modern atmosphere makes this a great choice for groups. Their menu also includes chicken and pork options, with sides like crispy Brussels sprouts and mini tuna or salmon tacos that round out the meal.
- Locations:
- 541 Robson St, Vancouver, BC
- 1518 W Broadway, Vancouver, BC

If you’ve never tried tsukemen (dipping ramen), Taishoken Ramen is the place. Thick, chewy noodles are served alongside a hot, concentrated broth—dunk and slurp to your heart’s content.
This spot is perfect when you’re after something different but still authentic. Their Kara Miso Tonkotsu Ramen is another standout, especially on a Raincouver day.
- Location: 515 Abbott St, Vancouver, BC
- Must-Try: Tsukemen

5. Afuri Ramen + Dumpling – Refreshing Yuzu Ramen
A Japanese import with a cult following, Afuri has won hearts in Vancouver with its bright, citrus-forward yuzu ramen. Light, clean, and refreshing, it’s especially perfect in summer—or anytime you crave a delicate broth over something heavy.
The restaurant mirrors its food: modern, fresh, and minimalist. Pair your bowl with their tangy Yuzu Limeade, or stop by at weekday happy hour (11:30–5 pm) for a ramen + side + drink combo at just $20.

6. Kintaro Ramen – Classic Miso Comfort
One of the OG ramen shops in Vancouver, Kintaro is beloved for its miso ramen—big portions, rich broth, and an unpretentious old-school vibe.
This is where you go for comfort on a cold or rainy day. Their bowls are massive, packed with flavour, and bring that bustling, authentic ramen-ya atmosphere straight from Japan. For me, it’s secretly one of the most satisfying ramen spots in the city.
- Location: 788 Denman St, Vancouver, BC
- Must-Try: Miso Ramen with corn

Zubu brings fun and flair to Vancouver’s ramen scene with stylish interiors and creative menu options. Their ramen flight—three mini bowls in one order—is a unique crowd-pleaser that lets you sample multiple broths and toppings.
Seasonal specials are a highlight, like the dramatic wagyu bone marrow ramen that’s torched tableside. Healthy touches, like kale and pea shoots, make their bowls feel lighter while still satisfying.

The newest kid on the block, NiNNiN Ramen offers affordable, flavourful bowls of Tonkotsu Shoyu with a welcoming vibe.
Their branding (yes, a shiba inu ninja!) adds playful charm, while tech-driven ordering via tablet gives it a Japanese touch. Loyalty perks include $1 off your bowl—and their free birthday ramen deal makes them a fan favourite already.
At this price point, with this quality, NiNNiN might just be Vancouver’s next breakout ramen spot.
